One of the campsites is Camping Lampenhäusl, for example, which is located in Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße. With its close proximity to the Grossglockner and the High Alpine Road, the site is the perfect starting point for tours and excursions along the route.
Another recommended campsite is the Alm Casino in Heiligenblut. This site also offers a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and is located in Heiligenblut, which is also the destination of our route.

Important Information on Tickets and Prices
For summer 2024, a day ticket for the Grossglockner, High Alpine Road costs € 43.00 for campers and cars.
The day pass is valid for the entire calendar day, which means that you can leave the road in Ferleiten or Heiligenblut after the respective checkpoints, take a day trip and then drive back through the checkpoints at no additional cost.
If you drive on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road again during your holiday or in the same calendar year, you only pay € 16.00 per vehicle on presentation of the first ticket (licence plate-bound).
